These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to the use of the website www.allaert-meat.be and to any order placed with Allaert Meat. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products

Allaert Meat offers perishable food products (meats and prepared goods). Images and descriptions are indicative only. Slight variations may occur due to the artisanal nature of the products (weight, appearance, cut).

3. Pricing

Prices displayed on the site are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes. Shipping fees and optional charges are specified prior to order confirmation. Allaert Meat reserves the right to modify prices at any time without retroactive effect on already confirmed orders.

4. Orders

An order is deemed accepted once payment is validated and an order confirmation is sent. Allaert Meat reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of:

Suspected fraud
Obvious error (pricing, inventory, product details)
Logistical inability to deliver

5. Payment

Payment is processed via secure payment providers. Allaert Meat does not store your complete banking details. Orders are prepared only after full payment confirmation.

6. Delivery

Delivery is available strictly within Belgium. Delivery terms, estimated timelines, and costs are provided at checkout. We utilize temperature-controlled cold chain shipping, though delivery times may vary based on carriers and operational conditions.

Receipt: The customer must inspect the parcel upon receipt and immediately store products in refrigerated conditions. In case of any anomaly, please contact us promptly with photos of the parcel and products.

7. Right of Withdrawal, Returns, and Refunds

Perishable products requiring cold chain storage generally cannot be returned for hygiene and food safety reasons. Allaert Meat does not accept returns or refunds for non-defective products. Refunds or replacements may be offered solely for defective or non-conforming items (refer to our Return and Refund Policy).

8. Liability

Allaert Meat cannot be held liable for indirect damages or delays caused by events beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to strikes, severe weather, transit incidents, or service outages. Allaert Meat’s liability is legally capped at the total value of the order concerned.

9. Allergens, Storage, and Food Safety

The customer is responsible for complying with storage instructions (temperatures between 0°C and 4°C, expiration dates, hygiene) and cooking procedures. For questions regarding allergens, ingredients, or product details, contact us prior to ordering.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the site (text, images, logos, graphic elements) is protected. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, or use is strictly prohibited.

11. Personal Data

The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
