This Delivery Policy outlines the shipping and receiving procedures for orders placed on https://www.allaert-meat.be/. As our products are highly perishable, strict management of the cold chain is our top priority.

1. Delivery Area

We deliver throughout Belgium.

2. Carrier and Cold Chain

Orders are meticulously prepared and shipped under strictly controlled temperatures between 0 and 4°C. Where applicable, shipping is handled via DPD Fresh to guarantee the continuity of the cold chain.

3. Order Preparation

We prepare and package our meats using specialized insulating materials designed to protect their freshness, integrity, and presentation. Preparation times may vary depending on order volume and product availability.

4. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. These are given as an indication and may vary based on:

  • The carrier and their delivery routes
  • Peak periods (holidays, promotions)
  • Weather conditions or logistical incidents

Allaert cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, but we make every effort to dispatch your orders as swiftly as possible.

5. Delivery Costs

Delivery costs are displayed at checkout and may depend on the delivery address, weight/volume of the order, and the selected delivery method.

6. Receiving Your Order

To guarantee food safety, the customer agrees to:

  • Be present at the delivery address (or arrange for an authorized person to receive the package)
  • Refrigerate the products immediately upon receipt
  • Inspect the condition of the parcel and the products as soon as they arrive

7. Damaged Parcels, Anomalies, or Non-Compliant Products

In the event of a damaged parcel, missing item, preparation error, or suspected spoilage, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery. Provide your order number along with clear photos of the parcel and the products. Do not discard the packaging until you have heard back from us.

8. Incorrect Address and Absence During Delivery

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their delivery information (address, access codes, phone number). In the event of an address error or absence during delivery, the quality of the products may be compromised, and Allaert's liability may be limited. Due to the highly perishable nature of our meats, returns are not accepted if the cold chain cannot be guaranteed.
