This Shipping Policy details the terms for dispatching and receiving orders placed on www.allaert-meat.be. Because our products are perishable, maintaining the cold chain is our topmost priority.

1. Delivery Zone

We deliver strictly within Belgium.

2. Carrier and Cold Chain

Orders are carefully prepared and shipped under temperature-controlled conditions between 0°C and 4°C. Where applicable, shipping is handled via DPD Fresh to guarantee seamless continuity of the cold chain.

3. Order Preparation

We pack items using specialized insulating materials to protect product freshness, structure, and presentation. Preparation times may vary depending on order volume and item availability.

4. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. These are estimates and may vary based on:

  • the carrier and delivery routes
  • peak activity periods (holidays, sales)
  • weather conditions or logistical delays

Allaert Meat cannot guarantee an exact delivery hour, but strives to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

5. Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are displayed during checkout and depend on the destination address, parcel weight/volume, and selected shipping option.

6. Order Receipt

To ensure food safety, the customer agrees to:

  • be present at the delivery address (or arrange for an authorized person to accept the parcel)
  • refrigerate products immediately upon receipt (between 0°C and 4°C)
  • inspect the parcel and products immediately upon arrival

7. Damaged Parcel, Anomaly, or Non-Conforming Product

In the event of a damaged parcel, missing item, packing error, or suspected alteration, contact us as soon as possible after delivery with your order number and clear photos. Do not discard packaging before receiving instructions from us.

8. Incorrect Address and Absence During Delivery

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details (address, access codes, phone number). In the case of an address error or absence during delivery, product quality may be compromised and Allaert Meat's liability may be limited. For perishable goods, returns are not accepted if cold chain integrity cannot be ensured.
